Currently, it is known that 49 state own bauxite. China has abundant bauxite resources, about 37 million tons, ranking the world, which with Guinea, Australia, Brazil belong to the world’s bauxite resources. But only Guyana and China product high-alumina for refractory , bauxite of other countries has a high iron content and more use for aluminum and abrasive materials.

China has rich bauxite resources. There are identified bauxite origin of 205 in the country 18 provinces, of which a large origin is 72 (not include Taiwan). Mainly distribute in Shanxi, Shandong, Hebei, Henan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Guangxi, Liaoning, Hunan and so on.
