Chrome alumina

Chrome Alumina, or pink fused alumina is produced by fusing high purity calcined alumina and chromium oxide. The end product has excellent hardness and resistance properties.

Chrome Alumina product uses

Refractory

Applications include the manufacture of furnace & ladle refractories and abrasive grinding wheels; chrome alumina is a valuable product for these applications due to its high erosion resistance properties.

High Friction Surfacing

Within the road surfacing industry this product is used as a decorative high friction aggregate for both indoor and outdoor flooring applications.
