Tabular Alumina Application

Tabular alumina is widely used in refractory materials which provides high temperature resistance, 

thermal and chemical stability, abrasion resistance, high mechanical strength and excellent shock 

resistance. Tabular alumina is also often used for ceramics as filters for molten metal, fillers for 

epoxy resins and polyester, inert catalyst supports and heat conductors.

Fe2O3:  max  0.20 %

Bulk density: ≥3.5 g/cm3

Apparent porosity: ≤5.0%

Moisture absorption: ≤1.5%
